POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Civil Engineering Technologist with experience in process layout and on-site inspection, particularly in water and waste water pumping and treatment, including retrofit projects.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process layout and CAD drawing development
- Coordination of drawing production by other disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation)
- Drawing archiving
- Preparation and filing of standard details
- Dealing with equipment suppliers
- Periodic on-site inspection
- Commissioning and training overview
- Process troubleshooting
As a civil engineering technologist/technician, the candidate is responsible for providing services to; Scientists, Engineers, Professionals
Candidate applying for civil engineering technologist/technician will also works independently in areas like;
Structural engineering,Municipal engineering, Construction design and supervision, Highways and transportation engineering, Water resources engineering, Geo technical engineering,Environmental protection

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years experience in the civil engineering
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registration or eligible for registration as a CET in the province
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
* At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
