Job Responsibilities:

• To work alongside the CEO, Chief Creative Officer, Purchasing Director, & Franchisee Relations Director in a tactically oriented function to meet the graphic design needs of our all our stores, corporate owned & franchised. The Company seeks a competent and creative designer that is bright, imaginative, and capable with strong communication skills specifically seeking a smaller work environment. When necessary, the candidate will also have to come up with marketing campaigns for the stores and follow through with all the graphic design.
• He/she is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all graphic design in our stores, trade shows, catering, and corporate events. They effectively communicate and coordinate with the necessary individuals to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired message, and functions successfully for varying technical and performance specifications. The candidate must be capable of leading the creative aspects (from concept to completion) of a project and have demonstrated strong business acumen .
• Minimum of three years experience as a graphic designer
• Fluency in current graphic design practices such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, InDesign
• Ability to create superior, original designs for the Web
• Superior design style & quick on his/her feet to make revisions on the fly
• Strong conceptual skills, including online software concepts and online experience concepts
• Solid understanding of client deliverables, and the ability to take responsibility for them.
• Knowledge of Web site structure and functionality.
• Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both print and digital media.
• Has demonstrated successful design and integration, and the delivery of projects on time and within the given budget.
• Ability to effective manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently on strategic issues, capable of managing fairly complex projects
• Ability to LISTEN and be able to deliver multiple options at all times for us to choose from
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines is essential for a fast-paced environment
• Strength in social marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
• Ability to create videos (from concept to completion) on Youtube and on our blog

Work Hiring Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in British Columbia.
• Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
