QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have at least 4 years hands-on experience in the same position. Experience in machining Automotive components, assemblies and castings highly preferred.
* Must have good English communication skills
* Previous experience with lathes, mills, grinders, heat treating, multi spindle CNC, gun-drills, and robots
* Ability to set-up (CNC manual) lathes, milling machines, grinders, SPM’s based on process specifications
* Ability to write and/or modify CNC programs for lathes, milling machines, grinders and robots
* Knowledge of SPC methods, process and machine capability requirement and lot control techniques.
* Able to read computer-generated profile views to adjust the tooling appropriately.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and CMM reports.
SALARY: C$22.50 per hour / 40 hours per week / plus OVERTIME
